Motion Offense, LLC., who is suing Google for patent infringements, unsuccessfully tried to prevent Google from transferring their case from Texas to the Northern California Circuit. Motion Offense, LLC claims a Fifth Circuit Precedent would give Google the home-town advantage. The Judge did not agree and the trial is set for September 2023.
